The Faroe Islands is presented as "Readers Choice" on National Geographic Travelers "Best of the world 2015" list over destinations you must-see in 2016.

Faroes Islands are unspoiled, unexplored and unbelievable destination for all those who enjoy the mountains, cliffs and hiking through small fishing villages. Among places visited is Gásadalur, a small picturesque village which offers unparalelled view of the fjord and the surrounding islets. Until recently the only way to get to charming Gásadalur was on foot from another village and over the mountain.

We hike the highest mountain in the Faroe Islands (882m), Slættaratindur, we get a grand view of the Faroese archipelago. From here we get a good view over surrounding mountains and islands and the whole of Eysturoy (eastern island).
